About Shakespeare Northwest

This is an exciting time for Shakespeare Northwest as we produce our mainstage shows in our new outdoor space, The Rexville Blackrock Amphitheatre.  2013 will be another fantastic year with auditions, rehearsals, parades, costuming parties, touring shows and sonnet slams as we present Shakespeare, outdoors, as it was meant to be.

When and where do you hold auditions?
I teach Drama at Squalicum High School in B-ham and will encourage students to audition for next year’s season. I am also interested in auditioning myself.
    Thank you-Chelsey Campbell

Just heard about you and love local theater. What time does it start? How are tickets made available?

I just posted the specific show dates on the website. The festival runs Thursday through Sunday most weekends. We perform in repertory, so each show performs every other night. Shows start at 7pm with a sonnet slam, the house opens at 6:30. Bring a picnic, chair and blanket! Tickets are available at the gate and soon we’ll have them online.

I have seen your “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” twice now and am coming back for the Iron Man on August 4th to see it, Julius Caesar and your touring show all on the same day. And I am bringing a friend. You have got a solid MSND with some truly remarkable talents who are exciting to watch and enthusiastic to behold. With respect, GregRobin Smith.
